Stefan graduated as a Medical Doctor in 1992 from the University of Malta and obtained his PhD from the University of Warwick, UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of the UK, a Fellow of the Faculty of Pathology of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland, and a Fellow of the Malta College of Pathologists. He is a Consultant Haematologist with a sub-specialty in Transfusion Medicine, and is a visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta.

LABORATORY ADMINISTRATOR
Rita is our Laboratory Administrator at Clinipath. With over 12 year of experience in administration, her role at Clinipath is to manage all administrative tasks to ensure that both the office and the laboratory function smoothly, achieving a high level of productivity and the smoothest experience for our patients.
Mr Andrew Galea St John BSc (MLS)
BIOMEDICAL SCIENTIST
Andrew graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Malta and is a full-time medical laboratory science professional whose primary role is to perform and analyse the numerous blood tests taken at Clinipath’s laboratories. These tests are vital to aid physicians rule out or make a diagnosis which will expedite any possible treatment. The blood tests carried out can also help with the monitoring of various diseases and also contributing to prevention through regular check-ups.

Melissa is a CPCM registered biomedical scientist who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Malta and a MSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland. In 2014, she obtained her PhD degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Malta. She has been practicing as a biomedical scientist at Clinipath Services Ltd since 2004. She is a council member of the Malta Association of Biomedical Science and a member of the Malta College of Pathologists.

Ms Herasimova Tetiana Geratani - Diploma in Nursing
PHLEBOTOMIST / COURIER
Tetiana is a Ukraine national who joined our team in Malta as a phlebotomist, taking blood from our patients for a variety of tests. She deals directly with multiple people per day and her primary motivation is to provide an experience that is as comfortable and pain-free as possible. Tetiana knows that nobody like needles and she is compassionate and gentle with all our patients.

Bertha has been working as a laboratory scientist at Clinipath since 1993, with her main responsibilities being in the microbiology and cytology section.

Antonella graduated from the University of Malta with a BSc (Hons) Applied Biomedical Science and a MSc in Biomedical Sciences specialising in Molecular Biology and Genetics. Her journey at Clinipath started in 2014 as a Biomedical Scientist with a wide variety of responsibilities including examining and analysing blood and body fluids, monitoring patient outcome and establishing quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy of test results.

NURSE
Maria is a state registered nurse with extensive experience in nursing management (Milan 2000-2007), wound care, domiciliary care and blood letting (taking blood samples). She has been supporting Clinpath since 2019 on a part-time basis, and also offers domiciliary visits for blood letting.
